Extremely RARE and IMPORTANT Historical Print Plate used by the Washington Post printing press.

Museum Quality ARTIFACT

Washington Post print plate is for January 20, 1981 that announced "The Hostages Are Free". Also the day before President Reagan was sworn it.

These half drum wheels were cast (on site at the Washington Post printing facility) in bronze and placed with lower page to create rotating press wheel. (see all pics)

Plate is extremely heavy. Local pickup only.

Measures 14.5" L x 14.75" W.

Condition report: Good. Minor dis-colorization and rubbing.
